Progressive Care Nurse New

Pride Health is hiring a RN Stepdown/PCU to support our client’s medical facility in Hartford, CT 06102. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

• RN Stepdown/PCU. 36 hours per week (3x12s | Nights: 7 pm to 7:30 am)

• Valid CT RN license

• BLS, ACLS (AHA)

• Bachelors of science in nursing required

RN Stepdown/PCU:

• Monitor and interpret patients' vital signs and respond appropriately.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Provide care and support to patients transitioning from ICUs.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop care plans.

• Perform detailed patient assessments and document findings in medical records.

• Manage intravenous lines and advanced medical equipment.

• Educate patients and their families about post-hospital care and wellness.

Experience required:

• 2 years of RN Stepdown or MedSurg/Tele experience in hospital setting is required.

• Weekly Travel Pay Range: $2200/week to $2350/week
